Hanlin School delivers local and bilingual courses delivered by highly professional educators from China and abroad. In 2017, Hanlin School was awarded “Dongguan's Most Popular International Educational Institution”. Currently, the Elementary and Middle School departments offer bilingual courses to pupils with IB, while the High School focuses on international programmes including ACT-GAC, A-Level all with the goal of sending Hanlin students to the best Universities in the World. English, Math, Science, Business, Economics, Physics, IT etc. are taught by both international and local teachers.

 

In February 2019, Hanlin was authorized as an IB World School. We currently offer the Primary Years Programme [PYP] and Middle Years Programme [MYP]. At Hanlin we believe in merging traditional Chinese values and beliefs with different perspectives from around the world, to create globally-minded citizens who have a strong sense of identity. Our language of instruction is Mandarin, yet we place a strong emphasis on our second language, English.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Working as Mathematics Teacher within the IB MYP/A LEVEL context.
  • Develop lesson plans and learning engagements in line with IB philosophies and our own curriculum objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with homeroom, single subject and other support teachers to help students develop holistically.
  • Develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole range of abilities.
  • Support and engage students to take part in additional activities (International Day, CCTV Speaking competitions, sports day, football tournaments, etc.)

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Commitment to the holistic education of students.
  • Care, patience, perseverance, and positivity.
  • IB experience is ideal but not essential.
