Initiated by teachers or students, the teaching and learning in the Hanlin School are inquiry-based and concept-driven, where disciplines are not only linked but also transcended. The IB classes of primary school guide students to employ the inquiry cycle of tuning in, finding out, sorting out, going further, taking actions, and drawing conclusions, so that students can explore, discover, constantly reflect, and innovate.
