As students, maintaining a balanced life means we can do other things besides study for our classes, but what exactly does it mean to have a balanced life? We can practice social skills like making friends, problem-solving, developing physical strength through sports, and preserving mental health. One way to assist you in maintaining a balanced life is to enrol in an optional class. You can move your body and be active in classes like fencing, badminton, dancing, tennis, and other sports. Take Chinese zither, calligraphy, or magic classes to develop your creative skills. Making friends, resolving issues, and honing your problem-solving skills all happen while having fun, whether moving chess pieces and planning your strategy in chess class or programming and creating your own robot in robotics class. In order to live a balanced life, we must exercise, be active, spend time with our friends, and engage in activities that bring us joy or stimulate our creativity. Every evening, take a look at the optional classes offered here at Hanlin to see which one you like.
Hanlin’s 10,000 students live on campus. Priority and attention are given to safety and care – a major strength of the School. In addition to dormitory teachers and mentors, there is a 24/7 Medical Centre, a full-time Psychologist, and a counselor.
